This program aims to support and economically empower vulnerable women, girls, and youths through income-generating projects, education, and skills training in ICT (Information Communication and Technology) and SMEs. If you love working with women, girls, and youths and you are willing to help out wherever support is needed most, this project will be a good fit for you.
This project is open to all volunteers as you will be working alongside local staff. Volunteers will come to offer experience, share practical knowledge and ideas on record keeping and marketing the business. Volunteers who have a background in finance or small business projects (SMEs) are perfectly suited to assist on this project. As a volunteer, you are encouraged to create training material on topics such as managing finances, skills identifying, and building self-esteem for some of the vulnerable women, girls, and youths to ensure leadership skills are implanted in them.
The women and youths also need to have access to finance and small business management skills which will enable them to start to enhance their businesses to generate an income and provide for their families therefore volunteers are encouraged to fundraise for them if necessary to support their table banking program.
